"Validation of ticket warning.. Prague Integrated Transport Tariff I purchased a ticket at Mustek station and made my way to the platform passing yellow consoles which were not signed as to what was their purpose. Upon stepping off the escalator I was intercepted by 3 officials informing me that I had to pay a fine as I had not validated my ticket. I informed them that I was not aware of this and would gladly validate my ticket, enquiring as to where I can do this. They indicated that it was on the level above at the yellow consoles. They instructed that if I move they will call the police and was prevented from validating my ticket and forced to pay the 1000CSK fine. I advised that there was no signage indicating that the consoles are to be used to validate the ticket, they pointed out that on the rear of the ticket there is a statement informing you of this. I checked and there is - not much larger than a postage stamp - talk about small print!!!! I paid the fine, but then observed the officials, they proceeded to stop any person with luggage. Who are most likely to be tourists. This is a stealth tourist tax. Has it altered my perception of a beautiful city - You bet!!!!!!"

"My wife and I recently visited Prague and chose Private Driver Prague for our transfer from the airport to the Hilton Hotel. It was an excellent choice! Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a friendly driver holding a sign with our names. He was very polite and immediately offered to help with our luggage, making us feel at ease knowing our bags were in good hands. During the ride, the driver shared interesting information about Prague’s main attractions, which made our transfer not only comfortable but also informative. The car was clean and spacious, and the journey was quick and hassle-free. We were extremely satisfied with the service from Private Driver Prague and will definitely use this service again on our next visit to Prague. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable and comfortable transportation!"
