I agree with the last response. There is a bit of walking but none of it is steep or difficult. It is well worth a try. You will be assigned a guide who speaks English and he can go at your chosen pace. Be sure to see the beautiful ceramics in the little gift shop and don’t miss the nearby small museum. If you only visit one archeological site in Trujillo, it should be this one!

The site itself cost 10 soles, you can get here by local bus for 2.5 soles, or a taxi from the center of Trujillo for around 10 soles (1 US$ is about 3 soles). You can also join one of the …

The site itself cost 10 soles, you can get here by local bus for 2.5 soles, or a taxi from the center of Trujillo for around 10 soles (1 US$ is about 3 soles). You can also join one of the shared tours with a guide who speaks a bit of English and Spanish, these tours leave daily for between 25 to 50 soles p.p. depending on the quality. Or you can take a private tour for around 30 US$ p.p. with your own personal English speaking guide North Peru Tours is for example a good agency for this.
