With my first experience with MariCar, the guide is only in the front. You can let it be known to the guide on where you want to be placed. Everyone will be instructed to keep up because if you leave a gap, there is a possibility that a vehicle may enter that gap. Then there will be a separation with others. The guide will show you hand signs that he will do when you are approaching a traffic ilght and he wants 2 lines to be formed. Once you go past the traffic light, he will hand sign everyone again to go back to a single line. You'll be fine.
