The Palais Garnier did not have evening tour the day I planned our visit because there was an evening performance. We chose to go first thing in the morning upon opening and had pre-purchased tickets, audio tour and reserved time slot. It was a performance day and by chance a kind staff member suggested visiting the auditorium first as it was open but was closing before noon. The earlier you set your itinerary the better.
