Very disappointed with Ueno Zoo! The animals were kept in small sparse enclosures and seemed very stressed. The elephant, black bear and the aarvarks just kept swaying, pacing or walking in circles.… Full review by Adventure25928298023

Hi, I am one of those giving a negative review about the zoo: the space for the animals was way too small, but what impressed me the most (in a negative way) was the behaviour of the animals. They looked sad and tired. I do not know why many people wrote a fantastic comment about the zoo. Personally, I would suggest to NOT visit it.
