Typical Beach. Close to parking lots, not very wide so it can be crowded. Kids were VERY disappointed that we couldn't swim due to pollution from Mexico. Lots of campers. Full review by Miranda G

What can I say! It’s a parking lot for RVs & travel trailers. But you’re right on the beach. You must be a self contained RV or travel trailer. The restrooms and shower facilities are closed and … Full review by ylcb1313

I as well don't know about WiFI access, we just used our cell phones on 4G LTE while there and sent several texts and pictures to others. I would imagine that if 4G LTE is available that you could get a jet pack that generates a WiFi signal to be able to connect your other devices with. We travel frequently with a jet pack that we use on our Verizon 4G LTE and it works really well, we are able to connect 5 devices to the jet pack WiFi. Ours is a couple of years old now and I hear the newer ones work even better. I also know you can rent jet packs (or other devices that generate a WiFi signal) for about $10 a day from various companies and I've heard those work out good too. You're right close to the city there while on the beach so I don't see this as any problem to get a WiFi signal generated from another device, it'll likely just end up costing you a few dollars a day to do so.

Are the RV's secluded to just a portion of the beach? I am staying w my family at the Loews and this is the beach we will use. Don't want to see a bunch of RV's when I am trying to just relax and enjoy the ocean.

Yes - what I have found are dozens of sand dollars and lots of fossil looking shells. There are a couple of "trapped" pools (further down in the direction of Imperial Beach) where there are lots of interesting shells. Be sure to take a bag to carry them and a separate place for the sand dollars so they don't break.
