A pretty nice campground. Generally quiet, clean bath and shower area. One thing they could do is provide some tent areas in the "non-primitive" part of the campground. Not everyone has an RV, and… Full review by agolddog

Very well maintained. Clean visitor's center. Some people didn't appear to have the correct footwear.... Probably a good place to have appropriate footwear. Full review by j952

Look on the maps and brochure part of the website for Table Rock State Park. There are two main camping areas that are more for car camping or RVing. These work fine, even great, for new campers, as your car is close by, amenities like firepits and picnic tables, running water, and electric. If you are looking to get away from everyone, this might not be completely what you are looking for. I found a tent pad was a really good idea for these, and good stakes. There is a tent only site on near the visitor center on the East side of Highway 11. Its a small hike in - maybe half a mile with no real elevation change - and the tent sides are pretty good. No running water or electric there though.
Q:
Are hammocks allowed at the campsites?
A:
We stayed in a cabin, did not see any signs against hammocks. You can call the park office 864-8878-9813 and they should be able to answer your question.
Q:
Just gonna be riding through on a motorcycle. Is there any places to park to take in the views?
A:
Yes There is a visitors center and parking by the lake that has some nice views of the rock.

Q:
Do you have to reserve the shelters or is it a first-come-first-serve how much $$
A:
You need to call the Ranger.
