Fox is set to bring divisional rivals to the TV in week 16 games pitting in the East the Eagles vs. Commanders and in the North the Packers vs Bears

It was January 4, 2004 when the Packers took on the Seattle Seahawks in a playoff tilt. As the Seahawks won the overtime coin toss, quarterback Matt Hasselbeck told the ref, "We want the ball and we're gonna score." The rest is history.

The Green Bay Packers already know the first detail of their 2025 schedule. Fox announced a Saturday doubleheader for Week 16, and the Packers will have a big divisional game against the Chicago Bears—Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders will have an NFC East matchup on the same day.

There's now a lot of hope surrounding the team and on Monday, the NFL announced that the Bears would be taking on the Green Bay Packers for a Week 16 matchup on Dec. 20. Of course, the two teams are a part of the biggest rivalry in NFL history, and the Bears quickly reacted to the news, saying "Week 16 at our place," via a social media post.

The first game announced on the Monday Night Football schedule will feature the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers, two NFC rivals who have been engaged in an offseason shoving match of sorts.
