Chicago Sky, about Reese

The Chicago Sky star quickly shut down a question during a press conference on Monday when one reporter attempted to bring up comments Reese made last year that took issue with the idea that Clark was the only reason for increased attention on the WNBA .
Ahead of their WNBA season tipoff on Saturday between the Indiana Fever, Chicago Sky's Angel Reese gifted her teammates her latest Beats Pill on Tuesday. A video posted by Chicago State of Mind showed the Sky huddled in a circle while Reese distributed the new speakers to her teammates and staff.
Reese is driven to make the playoffs, a good, seemingly attainable goal for a team with a healthy Kamilla Cardoso, a new veteran leader in Courtney Vandersloot and a star whose skill set is expanding before our eyes.
Out of halftime, Van Lith scored five, Ariel Atkins added four, and Rebecca Allen chipped in three to keep the Sky close, despite a 13-point explosion from Collier for the Lynx. Chicago trailed by just three heading into the fourth.
The rivalry between the two stars dates back to their time in college, when Angel Reese led the LSU Tigers to a blowout win over Caitlin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2023 national championship game.
Angel Reese originally signed with Reebok during her college days with the LSU Tigers in 2023. She then signed a contract extension with the sneaker and apparel company in 2024. Upon the release of the announcement, Reebok's head of basketball, Jide Osifeso, shared her thoughts on the partnership.
