Ole Miss basketball's upset over No. 4 Tennessee can be traced to a dust-up between Matt Murrell and Jaemyn Brakefield in practice the day before.

During Tuesday’s practice seniors Jaemyn Brakefield and Matthew Murrell got into what they called a “confrontation.” If that moment does not happen the Ole Miss men’s basketball team probably does not make history on Wednesday.

Ole Miss begged fans not to storm the court in the final seconds of the Rebels' 78-76 win over Tennessee on Wednesday. It didn’t work. It appeared security had the situation handled, initially, as a few students made their way to the court to celebrate the Rebels' win over the No. 4 team in the country. Then, the flood gates opened.
