NASSAU, The Bahamas — Chucky Hepburn had 16 points, 10 assists and seven steals, Noah Waterman also had 16 points and Louisville beat No. 14 Indiana 89-61 on Wednesday in the opening game of the Battle 4 Atlantis. Behind a dazzling display from guard Chucky Hepburn, Louisville went wire-to-wire for an 89-61 win over the previously unbeaten Hoosiers. It was the Cards’ first win over a ranked opponent since Jan. 6, 2021, and it gave coach Pat Kelsey a 4-1 start to his tenure.

Louisville made a statement in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament with an 89-61 upset of No. 14 Indiana on Wednesday in Nassau, Bahamas. The Cardinals jumped out to a 37-29 halftime advantage and outscored the Hoosiers by 20 points after intermission for the program's first win over a ranked opponent since January 2021.
