ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – Delta Air Lines will begin flying nonstop between Asheville and Boston beginning in May 2025. Flights between Asheville Regional Airport and Boston Logan International Airport will operate on Saturdays and Sundays beginning May 10.

A Delta flight from Tampa to Boston was diverted to Connecticut after the plane had mechanical issues, according to the airline.

A flight that was heading from Tampa, Florida to Boston, Massachusetts was diverted to Bradley International Airport after a mechanical issue and landed safely early Thursday morning. Officials from Delta said flight 1439 from Tampa to Boston diverted and landed safely in Connecticut after the crew received an indication of a mechanical issue.

Delta Air Lines released its summer 2025 trans-Atlantic schedule, which includes several new destinations across Europe.
