An FBI official said on Sunday the bureau believes it has identified the suspect connected to a bombing near a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, as 25-year-old Guy Edward Bartkus, and that he held "nihilistic" views.

Officials executed a search warrant after a car bomb killed one person and injured four others outside of a California fertility clinic. 25-year-old Guy Edward Bartkus, who died at the scene, was named as the “decedent and primary suspect.

The explosion damaged office space, but the clinic’s IVF lab and stored embryos were offsite and were not damaged.
