Quentin Tarantino praised David Fincher for stepping into the director's shoes for the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel. The film will see Brad Pitt reprising his role of Cliff Booth.

Quentin Tarantino says he chose not to direct the sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, citing lack of excitement and his rule of avoiding sequels for his final film.

"The idea that David Fincher actually wants to adapt my work to me shows a level of seriousness towards my work that I think needs to be taken into account," the Oscar winner said.
