The New York drugmaker on Wednesday said the approval covers Hympavzi for the routine preventions of bleeding episodes in patients 12 and older with severe hemophilia A or B without inhibitors. Pfizer said the green light makes Hympavzi the first once-weekly subcutaneous treatment in the European Union for people with severe hemophilia B and the first to be administered via a pre-filled pen or syringe for those with severe hemophilia A or B.
