India beat New Zealand by 44 runs to set up rerun of the Cricket World Cup final against Australia in last four.

Kuldeep Yadav gets the wicket of William O'Rourke and India have beaten New Zealand by 44 runs in their final Group A game. The win means that they finish at the top spot in the group, and will be taking on Australia in the semi-final match of the tournament at the same venue.

India have twice claimed victory in the Champions Trophy, in 2002 and 2013, but lost the final to Pakistan in the last edition. New Zealand, who entered the tournament ranked fourth in ODI cricket, lifted the trophy in 2000.

The league-stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 ended on Sunday, with India beating New Zealand by 44 runs in Dubai to top the standings in Group A.

Now, India will face the world-champions Australia in the first semi-final match on Tuesday, 4 March 2025 at the same venue. South Africa will travel back to Lahore where they will face New Zealand in the second semi-final on Wednesday,
