Adi Roche of Chernobyl Children International is calling for Chernobyl and all Nuclear Power Plants to be declared ‘No War Zones.'

Explosions have been heard and a fire ignited after an unmanned drone hit the roof of Chernobyl's radiation containment shell in Ukraine, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Ukraine has imposed emergency power outages in several regions due to damage to the energy grid from Russian drone attacks, the state energy supplier Ukrenergo said on Friday. There are electricity shortages in the eastern Kharkiv region as well as in central Poltava and Kirovohrad.
