Wisconsin staff member Jack Del Rio has resigned from his position with the Badgers, coach Luke Fickell announced Monday amid news of Del Rio's arrest last week for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Former NFL head coach Jack Del Rio resigned as senior adviser to Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell after an OWI arrest early Friday.

Del Rio allegedly struck a street sign with his vehicle, broke a fence and came to a rest in a yard, according to an incident report.
