By 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, the Mississippi Supreme Court Central District runoff race still hadn't been called, leaving the race in a neck-and-neck position. Both incumbent Jim Kitchens' and challenger Jenifer Branning's campaigns confirmed they were no longer expecting full results right away.
