Teel, one of the Sox' two rookie catchers, smacked a two-run double as part of a game-deciding four-run seventh inning Sunday, his latest big moment as he gets his first taste of the major leagues.

The White Sox and Giants had combined to score eight runs this entire weekend at Rate Field before Chicago erupted for four runs in the seventh inning Sunday and claimed a 5-2 victory. The White Sox also won the series with their second straight victory.

White Sox rookie Kyle Teel timed up Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers early and often on Wednesday at Rate Field. In his first at-bat in the first inning, he tied the game 2-2 with a line drive to center field.
