Karol G won eight prizes, including the trophies for Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year, while her song "Qlona" with Peso Pluma won the awards for Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Event of the Year and Streaming Song of the Year.

Karol G was the big winner at the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards with eight trophies including Global 200 Latin artist of the year and tour of the year. J Balvin was recognized for his philanthropic work at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Sunday as the recipient of the Spirit of Hope Award.

"The awards of the soul, helping a friend, serving others, those are the ones that are most worthwhile," the Colombian superstar said after accepting his trophy from Maluma.
