Reports coming out of Italy suggest that Lewis Hamilton is being offered a privilege at Ferrari that only Michael Schumacher got.

When Lewis Hamilton does decide to hang up his racing helmet, Ferrari has a successor ready to go according to Johnny Herbert. Hamilton will switch to Ferrari in F1 2025, having signed a three-year deal with the Scuderia during the winter break following last season’s championship.

Ferrari have reportedly offered Lewis Hamilton an honour that only Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher has previously received. In February, the world of F1 was shaken to its core when it was confirmed that seven-time world champion Hamilton would leave Mercedes at the end of the 2024 season.

Following his switch to Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton will have the privilege of staying in Enzo Ferrari's house during his stay at Maranello.
