Storm Team 10 and the National Hurricane Center are monitoring an area of showers and storms near Florida for tropical development in the coming days. This disturbance is now designated as Invest 93L and is expected to move westward across the northern Gulf coast towards Louisiana by the end of the week.
The National Hurricane Center said Tuesday a system moving over Florida remains disorganized, but could develop into the season’s next tropical depression or storm after it moves over land and into the Gulf this week.
