A review of 'Beatles '64' which chronicles the bands first visit to the USA in 1964 with extensive access given that has now been included in new take.

Produced by Martin Scorsese, David Tedeschi’s film threads contemporary interviews and historical context through rare footage shot by the Maysles brothers.

The Beatles' U.S. visit in 1964 also included concerts at Carnegie Hall, a gig at the Washington Coliseum in Washington, D.C., and a visit to Miami, where the band met Muhammad Ali. The documentary shows members of the band reading newspaper coverage of themselves.

Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Disney's 'Beatles 64' documentary highlights the role that television played in turning the band into icons.

Along with Scorsese, McCartney, Starr, Olivia Harrison, and Sean Ono Lennon all produce “Beatles ’64.” Margaret Bodde, Jonathan Clyde, and Mikaela Beardsley also produce the feature alongside executive producers Jeff Jones and Rick Yorn.
