McDonald's is doubling down on value in 2025 as it continues to entice cost-conscious diners. On Nov. 22, McDonald’s announced that it will introduce McValue, an overhaul of its value menu, in restaurants across the U.S. starting January 7, 2025. The menu will be available at its restaurants and via the McDonald’s app.

McDonald's has announced a new value platform, McValue, which will be available in restaurants nationwide starting on January 7.

Some of the buy one, get one for $1 options include breakfast items like Sausage McMuffin, sausage biscuit, sausage burrito, hash browns and lunch items like a six piece chicken McNuggets, double cheeseburger, McChicken and small fries.

McDonald's global sales at outlets open at least a year fell by 1.5 per cent between July and September -- the biggest decline in four years.

Amid rising food prices and the popularity of its $5 Meal Deal, McDonalds is preparing to introduce its new McValue platform.

"So, get ready for a new year, new menu," McDonald's said Friday as part of its McValue announcement. The company added that there will also be certain local deals and in-App offers when the McValue menu launches Jan. 7, 2025.

The burger giant has extended its popular $5 meal deal in hopes of winning back price-wary consumers and putting a recent E. Coli outbreak behind it. There were two big themes when it came to fast food in 2024: bankruptcies and pricing backlash.
