The Flyers lead 3-0 early in the second period before Vegas, who entered the game scoring fourth most goals per game in the NHL, roared back.

Couturier, Morgan Frost, Matvei Michkov, and Emil Andrae had the Flyers surging out of the gate, but they failed to close out Vegas.

Vegas came all the way back and won the game in a shootout, 5-4, on Monday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Vegas’ Jack Eichel got the only goal of the tiebreaker. The Flyers finished their five-game homestand with a 2-2-1 mark.
