Tech student at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, allegedly died by suicide in her hostel room on February 16.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi affirmed that Nepalese students in Odisha will pursue education with full dignity. He assured Nepal's Foreign Minister of strict actions following a student's suicide and attack on Nepalese students at KIIT.

The police are also investigating the matter and at least 10 people including, bouncers, security guards and other officials of the institute, have been arrested so far
