The Cincinnati Bengals are stuck in limbo with superstar defensive end Trey Hendrickson, who is adamant he's not playing for the team in 2025 without a new deal.

A text from head coach Zac Taylor led Bengals All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson to head to Cincinnati, attend Tuesday’s optional team practice as a spectator and speak to reporters.

He won't play with the Bengals this season under his current contract, but left the relationship open-ended. Basically, the ball is in the Bengals' court to improve negotiations with Hendrickson. He is set to earn $15.8 million this season, the final year of his contract with the team.
