The St Louis Cardinals are entering a rebuild. They let Paul Goldschmidt walk in free agency and tried to trade Nolan Arenado all offseason long. But no one has made the move for Arenado and the Boston Red Sox are off the board after signing Alex Bregman.

Arenado, who has a no-trade clause, was nearly dealt to the Astros in December, before he nixed the deal . On Wednesday, MLB.com’s John Denton reported that Mozeliak had been limited to trying to trade with the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Padres and Angels.
