An FIR has been registered against Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu at High Grounds Police Station in Bengaluru, following his controversial remarks about Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

New Delhi: Unfazed by an FIR registered against him for his alleged remarks against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu on Thursday said he stands by his comments and is not afraid of police complaints.

Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu insisted on Thursday that he did not regret calling Rahul Gandhi a ‘number one terrorist’ and refused to apologise to the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha.

The case was registered at the High Grounds police station in Bengaluru based on a complaint from a Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee officer-bearer.
