An Amityville man was charged with driving while intoxicated after Suffolk police said he struck and killed a pedestrian.
An accused drunk driver is behind bars after allegedly hitting and killing a pedestrian in a late-night crash on Long Island.
Suffolk police said Rand Strollo, of Amityville, was driving an SUV about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday when he fatally hit Mario Matute, of Copiague.
