Amid the investigation into the double murder-suicide carried out by a New Jersey state trooper, the Franklin Township Police Department has been taken over by the prosecutor’s office.

The couple called 911, and a squad car pulled up "at least 10 minutes later," but police never drove up the driveway to speak to the couple, they claimed.
