Tropical Storm Sara formed Thursday afternoon in the western Caribbean and is headed toward Honduras. Forecasters advised Florida residents to keep an eye on its track.

Tropical Storm Sara officially became a named storm after forming in the Caribbean Thursday, the National Hurricane Center said, and while it’s currently forecasted to impact Central America, there’s a possibility it may head toward the already-battered Gulf coast of Florida.

Tropical Storm Sara has formed on a path toward Honduras and is expected to bring “life-threatening and potentially catastrophic flash flooding and mudslides” to parts of the country, the National Hurricane Center warned.
