Snapchat users will soon be able to launch the app’s camera directly from the iPhone lock screen, thanks to an app update and the magic of iOS 18. The latest iPhone operating system update allows people to swap out the flashlight and camera on the lock screen for a diverse array of other useful tools.

OS 18 allows iPhone users to change the flashlight and camera shortcuts on the Lock Screen to something else, and Snapchat is now an option.

Snapchat recently announced that you can now snap photos using the iOS 18 lock screen. On top of that, there's a camera control support for iPhone 16.

Phone users with iOS 18 can replace the flashlight or native camera on their lock screen with a shortcut to the Snapchat camera.
