Protests took place in more than 1,500 cities on the same day that the president's birthday military parade, costing tens of millions of dollars, took place.

Thousands of protesters gathered at Library Mall and proceeded to march to the Capitol, chanting and holding signs in opposition to the Trump Administration and their treatment of immigrants.

Organizers with the “No Kings” movement are planning some 1,500 demonstrations across the country to protest the upcoming military parade Saturday. On the ‘No Kings’ website, there are over 50 protests planned all across the state for Saturday,
