Venture Global LNG will begin commercial operations at its Calcasieu Pass plant in Louisiana on April 15, the company said on Monday, some three years after it shipped its first LNG cargo in a move that led to a protracted dispute with customers.

Venture Global has confirmed that its Calcasieu Pass liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Louisiana will start commercial operations in April 2025. Once operational, the plant will export at least 10 million tonnes per annum of LNG. The 432-acre site is near several major interstate and intrastate natural gas pipelines.
