The Colorado Rockies fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-7 last night mostly due to six unearned runs in the fourth inning, but they clawed their way back in the later innings to put themselves with two runs of the kings of the NL West. Unfortunately, they were not able to pull themselves completely out and still lost the game.

The Dodgers have been dominant in Los Angeles this season, going 30-14, and they treated Coors Field in Denver like a second home on Tuesday night, beating the Colorado Rockies 9-7 in the opener of a three-game series.
