For starters, the Asus VivoBook 15 and Lenovo IdeaPad 3 tick a lot of the same boxes, including critical features like a quad-core AMD Ryzen 3000 series processor, 8GB of system memory and 256GB SSD.

The draw of the Vivobook Pro 15 is all about performance. That’s why there’s only one configuration offered: the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, the RTX 4050, 24 GB of RAM, and 1 terabyte of storage.

Our favourite Asus VivoBook 15 model costs £499, and has a Ryzen 5 CPU, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Intel fans can get a Core i3 version at a similar price, but with 4GB RAM instead of 8GB.

Display The Vivobook S 15 has a 15.6-inch, 2880x1620 OLED display. It has a 120Hz refresh rate with a claimed 0.2ms response time, 600 nits peak brightness, 100 DCI-P3 color coverage, and HDR support.
