Wonder of the Seas will scrap most of its planned stops, skipping Cozumel, Roatan in Honduras, and Costa Maya. The ship, which left from Florida’s Port Canaveral on Sunday, will add stops in St. Thomas and St. Maarten instead.

Carnival Cruise Line has altered the itineraries on a couple of their cruise ships due to Tropical Storm Helen that is currently in the Caribbean.

Carnival Cruise Line is adjusting itineraries of at least two of its ships due to the current path of tropical storm Helene, which is impacting the Gulf of Mexico. According to an update shared by the company,

All three cruise lines have already changed some itineraries and Margaritaville at Sea may have to move MAS Islander out of the storm's path.

Tropical Storm Helene has formed in the Caribbean Sea, and forecasters say it will strengthen into a major hurricane.

Alberto, the first named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, made landfall on the northeastern coast of Mexico as a tropical storm on June 20, unleashing heavy rain, flooding and gusty winds. At least four people died in events related to the storm.
