The Original ‘Looney Tunes’ Cartoons No Longer on Max
A source close to WBD explained that the company has been publicly trying to step away from children’s programming, such as “Looney Tunes” and “Sesame Street” (which was not renewed on the platform), due to low viewership on Max. Instead, Max is prioritizing adult and family content.
Where You Can Still Watch the Original Looney Tunes Shorts After Max Removed Them
While all of the original theatrical shorts were removed from the platform, not all Looney Tunes content is gone from Max. You can still stream the newer Looney Tunes Cartoons series that first came out in 2020 as well as 2015's New Looney Tunes. There are also two seasons of Tiny Toons Looniversity that remain on the platform.
