Scattered thunderstorms are possible across the region Saturday. A few of the storms may be severe with damaging winds, large hail or a tornado. The highest threat is across Western Kentucky and Southwestern Indiana late Saturday morning into the afternoon.

While no tornadoes were reported following this weekend’s storms in South Central Wisconsin, the high winds caused significant damage.Rock County Emergency Management Director Kevin Wernet reported handling 239 emergency calls during the storm’s peak from Friday into Saturday.

Tornadoes in the South and Midwest overnight and early Saturday left 11 dead in Missouri. More tornadoes are forecast Saturday and Sunday.
