An ongoing effort in to restore historic streetlamps in the French Quarter is restoring a sense of safety for some residents.

AND THIS IS ONE OF HUNDREDS OF LIGHTS THAT HAVE BEEN REPAIRED OR REPLACED IN THE FRENCH QUARTER IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP PEOPLE SAFE. THE MORE THAT YOU IMPROVE THE LIGHTING, I THINK IT DOES MAKE IT SAFER.
