Fields, who came to Pittsburgh via trade from Chicago in the offseason, started the first six games of the 2024 and led the Steelers to a 4-2 record. He threw for 1,106 passing yards, five touchdowns, and one interception and added over 200 yards on the ground and another five touchdowns.
