POOLER, Ga (WSAV) – Pooler Elementary parents gathered for a meeting Thursday night to learn more about what the Savannah Chatham County Public School System’s plans for the school.

With Chatham County booming, new schools could be built soon if voters approve a new plan to spend about $705 million.

The Savannah-Chatham County School Board estimates at least 1,200 students would attend the proposed high school if the measure is approved.
