President Donald Trump is attending the opening day of the Group of Seven summit Monday in Canada, where some of the staunchest and oldest U.S. allies are expected to discuss tariffs and the escalating military conflict between Israel and Iran — all while attempting to avoid direct confrontations with the mercurial U.

DC officials reported that 31 people were hospitalized during the Army's 250th anniversary parade, which drew large crowds to the National Mall. The grand celebration on Saturday evening showcased a spectacular display of military strength and heritage.

Some 200,000 spectators are expected to attend to see military aircraft and tanks on Flag Day, which is also Trump's birthday.

The National Weather Service forecast for Washington D.C. on June 14 has a 50% chance of rain, with thunderstorms possible.
