An armed man was shot and wounded by members of the U.S. Secret Service during a shootout early Sunday, authorities said.

Wilmington Police arrested three suspects linked to an armed robbery; all faced arraignment with significant bail set.

The man was taken to an area hospital, where his condition "is unknown,” the Secret Service said in a statement.
