Whoopi Goldberg isn't backing down from the haters of The View. On Thursday, March 13, Goldberg fired back at those who criticize the show, especially those who called for its cancellation because of the cohosts' political stances.

Goldberg advocated for the Hot Topics table's right to express their opinions — often to the chagrin of conservative viewers.

Of course, as moderator and a longtime member of the Hot Topics panel, Whoopi Goldberg is well aware her show has some dedicated haters, but she shared a message on today’s episode responding to people who want to pull The View off the air.

Whoopi Goldberg had something to say to those critics who have been calling for The View to be canceled because the cohosts consistently offer critiques of Donald Trump. Perhaps ironically, her message came at the tail end of a discussion in which they were expressing their discontent about someone on the opposite side of the political spectrum.

The EGOT winner has had multiple health issues throughout the years which have forced her to skip out on her hosting duties.

Joy Behar is a crowd pleaser on The View, and any news of her leaving her job is something no fan wants to happen. Joy recently clarified that she isn’t leaving The View any time soon but may change her tune if things don’t change.
