Previously referred to as “Wolverine 3,” the final chapter in Jackman’s journey as the “X-Men” character is set for a March 3, 2017 release date. Watch the video above.

“Logan” will be Jackman’s last hurrah as the character, which he first played in 2000’s “X-Men” and reprised in subsequent follow-ups.

Logan really is shaping up nicely, with the barrage of photos and the trailer all coming pretty fast. This film has seemingly gone from 0-60 in no time.

It looks and feels like a poster for an old-school Western, with an emphasis on a brown and red color palette. Logan opens in theaters on March 3, 2017.
