Raiders coach Antonio Pierce used a profanity Monday morning to describe the season's first half, but with a week off to contemplate all that went wrong, his attention turns to finding hope over his team's final eight games.

After five straight losses leading to a 2-7 record this season, the Raiders have taken drastic action. Sunday night they fired OC Luke Getsy after just nine game with the team and also let go of two other members of the offensive staff.

Antonio Pierce was bumped up to the head coaching job with the Raiders in midseason last year and he made some major changes to his staff at midseason this year.
