A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the I-25 Corridor, including the Denver metro area, as well as the Eastern Plains until 10 p.m. Scattered hail up to two-inch size, along with up to 70 mph wind gusts and a couple of tornadoes are possible.

We're tracking the potential for some severe weather going into the day Wednesday, the Denver metro area is under a level 2 threat for those severe storms.

A strong thunderstorm rolled into metro Denver on Thursday afternoon and was expected to bring wind gusts up to 60 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
